Frequently Asked Questions

When is the event?
Tour de Broward has gone virtual for 2021. All Tour de Broward events will take place on your own schedule any time throughout the month of February.

Where does the event take place?
Your choice! With Tour de Broward going virtual, you have the freedom to complete your event any where you want! Please be sure to adhere to all distancing guidelines and remain safe.

What is a virtual event?
While we may not be able to safely gather at Miramar Regional Park this year, the show will go on! After registering for your event of choice, you will receive a link via email with instructions to download RaceJoy, an app that will facilitate the timing of your walk, run, or cycle. Any time during the month of February, you can complete your event (it's okay to sleep in this year!) and we will receive your results.

Do I have to be a professional cyclist or runner to participate?
No. Anyone of any level is encouraged to participate.

Can I register on the day of the event?
Registration for the virtual event will remain open until February 27, 2021. Please note, all events must be completed by February 28, 2021.

Can I register my family together?
Yes!

What will the participants receive?
All registrants will receive an event shirt, goodie bag, a finishers medal, and satisfaction knowing you helped the kids at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.

How will I receive my materials?
All materials can be picked up at our Drive-Thru celebration on February 28th between 11:00-1:00 PM at Miramar Regional Park.

Can I volunteer at this event?
Due to the virtual nature of Tour de Broward this year, we will not be accepting volunteers. Please mark your calendar to join us in 2022.
