No Shave Movember 2023

What is Movember?

Men’s health is in crisis. Men are dying on average 4.5 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons. A growing number of men - around 10.8M globally and one in nine men in the U.S, - are facing life with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men. And across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 69% of all suicides*.

"Movember" or "No Shave November" is an opportunity for us to raise awareness and funds to help support the health of our men; our brothers, our fathers, our sons, our grandfathers and our friends who all too often don't ask for the help themselves.

How Can I Participate?

Start November clean-shaven. Then start growing. A moustache and beard are powerful symbols and can be great conversation starters. Use that opportunity to have these life-saving conversations about men’s health.

Make a contribution. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be applied to the Memorial Foundation's Urology Fund, which assists with research, programs and services for men's health. So go ahead, give what you can by clicking the donate button on the right. Then tell your colleagues, friends and family and encourage them to make a donation too.
