My Holiday Passion Project
When I was 9 years old, I was admitted to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital for unknown causes. After being ill for 10-days, the doctors in the ER thought it would be best to be observed in the hospital. I was frightened and unsure of what was happening. After only a short period of time the staff at the hospital made me feel better. Between games, programming, pet visits and friendly doctors and nurses I felt less nervous. I remained at the hospital for almost two weeks before being diagnosed with Celiac Disease. After leaving the hospital, I always said I would like to find a way to do the things to help the those at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. This is why I chose this as my “Passion Project” this holiday season. I am asking for friends and family to donate to my cause as a gift to me and those at the hospital. Thank you.
